FAQ’s

Do you offer Day Care?

We don’t offer day care.

Where do the dogs sleep?

Each dog will have their own bed, we also put out duvets or they can choose the sofa.

Why do we need a specific drop off and pick up time?

We like to create a calm atmosphere so we tend to put the other dogs away during arrival and departure times. We do also pop out from time to time so we need to ensure we are available. You must give us a specific drop off and pick-up time within our opening hours but this time must be adhered to. If you wish to change this appointment time, you must contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you. We strictly shut at 5pm.

Can you collect or drop my dog home?

We don’t offer this service.

What do we feed the dogs?

We require you to bring your dogs own food, this keeps their routine the same as it would be at home.

How much exercise will my dog get?

All dogs will be taken for a walk around our fully enclosed 2 acre paddock, at least 3 times a day.

Are there any dogs you don’t accept?

We do not accept dogs under the age of 12 months. We can’t accept dogs that are aggressive to either people or other dogs. Dogs need to be handled by us on a daily basis so very nervous dogs may be unsuitable. We can’t accept bitches in heat or entire males. Excessive barkers, dogs that hump others, non toilet trained or escape artists may also not be accepted.

Do you have any age restriction’s

We accept dogs from 12 months old. Very old dogs may not be suited to a shared home boarding environment.

Do we have any pets?

We have an 15 year old Springer Spaniel called Monkey.

What do we do if a dog doesn’t get along with others?

We do strict 2 part trial session (mandatory) for all our clients so hopefully we would pick up any issues. If there was a problem during your dogs stay we have lots of separate areas to split dogs.

What do I need to bring for my dogs stay?

Your dog must be fully vaccinated and up to date with their flea and worming treatments. We need a hard copy of the vaccination record on every visit. You need to bring their own food to last the duration of their stay. You may bring any treats you wish them to have.

What happens if my dog falls ill or gets an injury during their stay?

If your dog falls ill/get’s an injury or requires any veterinary treatment during their stay, we will take them to our registered vet. This is Watkins and Tasker based in Yatton. All veterinary fees will be the responsibility of you, the dog owner. Any treatments will be billed to you at the end of your dogs stay.

Will my dog be left alone at any period?

Our license allows us to leave our boarded dogs for a 3hr period within 24hrs.

Payment

Payment can be made on your dogs arrival or departure. It can be made via Cash, Cheque or Bank Transfer. We do not have a card reader on the premises.

Do we require a deposit?

We require a £50 non refundable and non transferable deposit for all bookings. This must be paid by bank transfer before we can secure your dogs place. Once we have received the deposit we will email to confirm the booking. The deposit must be paid within 24hrs of booking or the place will be released.

What happens if our stay is cut short?

If your holiday is cut short for any reason and your dog is to be picked up early you are more than welcome to contact us and arrange a collection time. There is no refund for holidays cut short as we hold spaces for the duration of your dogs stay. This means we may turn other clients away and so you will be required to pay the full amount you booked.
